Data collection, storage & processing
Last updated: April 16, 2026
This page summarizes how TRYGO handles data collection, storage, retention, and processing in connection with trygo.io and the TRYGO product. It supplements our Privacy Policy with operational detail. This is not legal advice.
1. Categories of data
| Category | Examples | Primary purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Identity & contact | Email, name, company | Account creation, communication |
| Account & product content | Projects, hypotheses, prompts, generated assets, uploads | Providing AI and GTM features |
| Technical & usage | IP, device/browser, logs, cookies, error reports | Security, reliability, analytics |
| Payment-related | Billing status, transaction metadata (card data handled by processor) | Subscriptions and invoicing |
2. Where data is stored
Data is hosted on cloud infrastructure selected for security and availability. Primary storage locations may include the United States and/or the European Economic Area, depending on configuration and provider. We apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Retention (summary)
- Account data: retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to resolve disputes, comply with law, and maintain backups.
- Product content: retained until you delete it or delete your account, subject to backup cycles and legal holds.
- Logs & security: typically retained for a limited period (e.g. weeks to months) unless longer retention is needed for incident investigation or legal compliance.
- Marketing & optional analytics: according to cookie preferences and applicable retention settings.
Exact periods may evolve with infrastructure and law; material changes will be reflected on this page or in the Privacy Policy.
4. Processing roles
For personal data you control as a customer (e.g. your end users’ data entered into TRYGO), you may be the controller and TRYGO may act as a processor, depending on your use case and agreement. For TRYGO’s own account and product analytics, TRYGO acts as controller as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Subprocessors & third-party services
We use vetted infrastructure and service providers (hosting, email delivery, payments, analytics, error monitoring, etc.). They process data only on our instructions or under their own terms where appropriate, and we require appropriate security and confidentiality commitments.
6. Security measures
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for the website and APIs;
- Industry-standard protections for credentials and access control;
- Least-privilege access for operations;
- Monitoring and logging for security and reliability.
7. Your controls
You may access, export, or delete certain data through in-product settings where available. For other requests, contact hello@trygo.io.
8. Updates
We may update this page to reflect product, infrastructure, or legal changes. Check the "Last updated" date at the top.
